Dainty Sulphur

Dainty Sulphur

These very small yellow butterflies, appropriately named Dainty Sulphur are hardly noticed as they flutter by in search of nectar or pause briefly to rest.  This image was taken in my yard on 6Apr12 in northwest Louisiana.  Dainty Sulphurs are common to the entire south central United States and may be found throughout much of the year.
